About the King
Welcome to my blog! I’m Laine. I’m an author, a geek, a parent, a partner, and apparently I like the letter P because I use it a lot. I homeschool my “Small Thing”, I have a retail store (web-only) called Worth Buying, LLC, and I am double majoring in Urban Teaching/Multicultural Counseling. Oh, and I have fibromyalgia as well as a brain injury. I don’t let minor details like that stop me, though.
This website will be dedicated to prattle on Philosophy, Play, Pleasures and Purchases. Friends and strangers are welcome—and hopefuly some of those strangers will become friends. I will be adding posts every week or less about neat occurences in our daily life, the words and drawings of my daughter Small Thing, my personal philosophy as it relates to the world around me, my weird sense of humour, and sometimes neat notes about the store. I am doing this because I like expressing myself, and I have better luck doing so in writing than words.
